Born Anchiano 1492, Died Amboise1505. He was a famous painter, sculptor, architect, designer, theorist, engineer and scientist. He founded the High Renaissance style and his work and writings helped establish the ideals of representation that dominated European academies for the next 400 years. Although he finished few paintings Mona Lisa can be described as the world’s most famous painting.
