Biography
MARCUS, Donna, 1960

Donna Marcus was born in Sydney in 1960. She completed a Bachelor of Arts at the Tasmanian School of Art in 1980, and a Master of Visual Arts at the University of New South Wales in 1988. She is currently Lecturer in Fine Arts at the Queensland College of the Arts, Griffith University. Marcus has had several solo exhibitions, including Teamwork, Gold Coast City Art Gallery, 2001; and has been selected for numerous group exhibitions including Moving Cities: Australian artists in Berlin, 2000; and the Helen Lempriere National Sculpture Award, 2001. In 1995 she was resident at the University of Tasmania studio in Paris, and held the Parks Victoria Residency in 1997. Donna Marcus is currently based in Brisbane.
