The National Gallery of Australia holds three costume designs by Gris for La Tentation de la bergère [The Temptation of the Shepherdess] (1923), as well as one costume, for a baroness. It also has two of the artist's illustrated books published by the Galerie Simon, Le casseur d'assiettes [The plate breaker] by Armand Salacrou, 1924 and Denise by Raymond Radiguet, 1926.
