Artist: Bertram Edgar MACKENNAL Birth/Death: 1863–1931 Title: Table centrepiece Credit Line: Private Collection Bertram Mackennal studied at Melbourne's National Gallery School alongsied artists such as Tom Roberts and Frederick McCubbin. Mackennal was profoundly impressed by Rodin, whom he met in Paris in 1884. The sensuality of Table centrepiece owes a debt to Rodin's influence.
