Through his furniture Leslie Wright, celebrates the desiccated beauty of the coastal environment. In this table, he uses the formal language of an earlier period, the sinuous Art Nouveau style of the early 20th century, to suggest cycles of growth and decay and the fragility of life at the continent’s edge.
