Introduction Turner to Monet: the triumph of landscape presents a landmark exhibition of nineteenth-century Western landscape painting. Featuring one hundred works by the greatest artists of the time, the exhibition showcases Australian landscape painting in an international context and looks at the triumph of landscape as it rises to new importance in the art of Europe and the New World. Turner to Monet, accompanied by a major catalogue, will be held at one venue only: the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra. The exhibition runs from 14 March to 9 June 2008.
Resources This website provides a comprehensive resource for educators of Primary and Secondary school students. The website contains a searchable database of the complete exhibition (over one hundred works) all with images. Audio introductions and supporting articles are also available for 34 of the key works.

Visit material This section of the site provides resources for primary and secondary students for use during a visit and as an introduction to the exhibition, worksheets for Secondary students can be downloaded and printed. Guided tours of the exhibition are available on request and are free of charge (Bookings essential). Audio tours are also available at a nominal cost.
