Over the years I have collected a very particular bone; it is a pointy, sharp secondary bone from the legs of turkey, chicken, spatchcock and quail. I have used all of them in Prickly Bride and bound it with fabric from the dress I was married in. I married secretly years ago on Christmas day without family and without much fuss. This is a personal work, it is more about the prickly nature of the situation, not solely the bride. What I do have in this sculpture is a collection of bones whose flesh all my family and friends have enjoyed.
