Screen media resource

Instructions
This resource contains information required for internet publishing of images relating to works of art.

Contents of the media resource include:

  • MEDIA RELEASE (144 kb, pdf)
  • Select images represented by thumbnails as listed below. The images are formated as low resolution 72dpi RGB files in two sizes SML 180pxl .GIF, MED 300pxl .JPEG and are strictly for screen based publishing only. Please note: the dimension relates to the onscreen size of the image. A landscape format image will be at its largest 300pxl wide. A portrait format image would be at its largest 300pxl high.
    To download files please follow the following instructions.
    Internet Explorer: Right click on thumbnail then choose ‘Save target as..
    Firefox / Chrome: Right click on thumbnail then choose ‘Save link as’
    Safari : Control click on thumbnail then choose 'Download linked file'
    Other browsers:  click through to the main image and right click and choose ‘save image as’.


    To download SMALL 180pxl file
    Windows : Right click on thumbnail then choose 'Save picture as...' .
    Mac : Control click on thumbnail then choose 'Download image to Disk' .
    To download LARGE 300pxl file
  • Credit lines can be found adjacent to the image and can be copied directly from this screen.
  • The credit line "The National Gallery of Australia is an Australian Government Agency" is to be used in conjunction with NGA logos.
